G4 in Aerospace
I am a G4 in Aerospace studying jellyfish biohybrid robotics for ocean exploration. My research focuses on utilizing 500 million years of jellyfish evolutionary pressure to build better robotics and advance ocean science. I am particularly interested in sustainability and best practices for translating scientific inquiry into better policy decisions. So many brilliant scientists have developed ground-breaking discoveries for the transition to clean energy which could be better utilized to fight climate change and advance conservation. Before Caltech, I studied Mechanical Engineering and Astrophysics at Columbia University in NYC. When not in the lab, I can usually be found backpacking, scuba diving, reading a good book, or volunteering with various mentorship and community groups in Pasadena.
