Hi Yall!! I'm Josh, a first-year Ph.D. student in Medical Engineering supervised by Prof. Wei Gao. My research focus is on developing a wearable biosensor able to detect multiple health biomarkers correlated to stress. Outside of the lab, I love long leg days at the gym, rock climbing v3s right now, and being entranced like a serpent at jazz clubs when I can! I'm excited to serve on the EAS Graduate Student Advisory Board as the Medical Engineering representative.
I hope to be able to serve our division and the collective needs we have to effectively succeed as graduate students. I know I have the potential to grow within this role as a first year and help mold this board to be what we as a group envision. Specifically, I will focus on incorporating the perspective of Medical Engineering students to the collective division and fostering stronger relations throughout our EAS community!
