I am a pioneering second-year Materials Science student at Caltech and a member of the distinguished Fultz Group. I transitioned from the UK to the US in 2022, bringing with me a wealth of unique experiences and insights. My remarkable journey includes empowering elementary schoolers in rural Uganda with sexual health education, championing environmental conservancy following her advocacy in the Antarctic, and spearheading the Plant-Based University campaign at Caltech, promoting ethical and sustainable dining practices. My multifaceted involvement has positioned me as a formidable advocate for addressing prevalent global issues. At Caltech, I perceive a critical gap in acknowledging and acting upon social, environmental, ethical, and ecological challenges. With a vision to leverage my role to enhance the Caltech community's academic, social-emotional, and cultural fabric, I aspire to cultivate a culture of social responsibility, motivating students, faculty, and staff to embody positive change in their daily lives and beyond.
