G1 in Mechanical Engineering
Hi everyone! I'm a Mechanical Engineering PhD student in the Daraio Group, working at the intersection of functional materials and health. My research focuses on developing responsive materials with tunable mechanical behavior for non-invasive health sensing applications. As a first-generation college student, I've experienced firsthand how essential a supportive community is for helping people grow and thrive. I joined GSAB to pay that support forward by drawing on both my academic journey and my years of industry experience. I hope to foster an inclusive environment that recognizes our diverse backgrounds and provides the resources needed for everyone to succeed. In my free time, I'm usually out running, in the studio throwing pottery, or up late stargazing.
