Pranav Kulkarni Receives the 2024 Jakob van Zyl Predoctoral Research Award

Pranav Kulkarni, an Electrical Engineering graduate student advised by P.P. Vaidyanathan, the Kiyo and Eiko Tomiyasu Professor of Electrical Engineering, has received the 2024 Jakob van Zyl Predoctoral Research Award. This research award has been made possible through generous donations in memory of distinguished EE alum, Dr Jakob van Zyl, who led significant research efforts at JPL and also taught classes at Caltech for many years.
