Julia R. Greer Named MRS Fellow

Julia R. Greer, Ruben F. and Donna Mettler Professor of Materials Science, Mechanics and Medical Engineering; Executive Officer for Applied Physics and Materials Science has been selected to the class of 2026 MRS Fellows for contributions to 3D nano- and micro-architected materials including the lightest solid materials, recoverable, damage- tolerant, and thermally-tunable hollow ceramic nanolattices, the lightest silicon lithium ion battery, and tissue scaffolds.
