Aramis Mendoza Receives Women in Aerospace and Congressional Black Caucus Scholarships

Aramis Mendoza, a third-year undergraduate studying mechanical and aerospace engineering, received the Women in Aerospace Foundation (WIA) Northrop Grumman Scholarship and the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) Spouses Education Scholarship in July 2023.

Founded in 1985, the WIA Foundation provides scholarships to women in STEM fields for the purpose of encouraging women to enter the aerospace field, expanding leadership opportunities for women in aerospace, and increasing the visibility of women in the aerospace community. 

The Congressional Black Caucus Spouses Education Scholarship is awarded to exceptional African American and Black scholars pursuing undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degrees, who are constituents of a Congressional Black Caucus Member.
