Fluid Mechanics: The Engineering and Applied Science Division at the California Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of fluid mechanics.

Applicants studying fundamental aspects of flow physics using theoretical, computational, and/or experimental techniques will be considered. The search is aimed at the assistant professor level, but exceptional candidates at all levels will be considered. Initial appointment at the assistant professor level is normally for four years, and is contingent upon completion of Ph.D.

Review of the applications will commence on March 7, 2007 and continue until the position is filled.
