The Applied Physics Program: Caltech Applied Physics Program invites applications for one tenure track position as assistant professor.

We are seeking highly qualified candidates who are committed to a career in research and teaching. Exceptionally well-qualified candidates may be considered at the associate or full professor level. In addition to applicants from traditional areas including device and/or materials physics we are interested in applicants with interdisciplinary backgrounds spanning these and other areas such as biology and chemistry.

The term of the initial appointment is normally four years, and appointment is contingent upon completion of all the requirements for a Ph.D.
