A limited amount of travel support is available for students and postdocs who wish to attend the conference. Students and postdocs who would like to apply for travel support are asked to submit to Nora Oshima by September 4, 2009:
(i) a brief letter indicating their research interests and reasons
for wishing to attend the conference, and
(ii) a letter of recommendation from their supervisor.
Preference will be given to applicants for whom the supervisor
verifies that other funds are not available to support their travel.
Abstract submission is not required to apply for travel support.
Applicants will be notified about the status of their applications by mid September.
